The “wishing basket” lid, of native Ugandan style, makes it a versatile storage space. Leave off the lid for a unique planter or umbrella holder in your entryway; or close it up to stow away an assortment of items.
Handwoven by a cooperative of twenty women, tucked away in the Rwenzori Mountains, each basket takes weeks to complete. Made exclusively in a fair trade environment.

Our baskets are sturdy, strong, and flexible, made to withstand constant use. If properly cared for, your basket will live a long life.
Dust your woven basket on a regular basis, wiping with a damp cloth if necessary. No other cleaning should be necessary.
Changes in temperature and humidity may cause your basket to expand and contract, which may make securing the lid difficult at times. Be patient and wait for the weather to change or remove from areas with high humidity (like bathrooms).

Prefer a refund? A single re-stocking fee will apply to returns within 30 days:
$0 (no fee) for just bedding and/or towels
$25 for most other returned orders
$65 if your return includes oversized items (area rugs, furniture, mirrors)
White glove delivery items are handled separately and have a 15% re-stocking fee.
For all orders placed from November 1, 2022, to December 31, 2022, you have until January 31, 2023, to process a return or exchange.
