Our rugs are made from the finest natural materials. We choose sheep's wool, pure cotton or jute, dye it carefully, and weave it for strength. Following these suggestions will ensure your rugs can be treasured for a lifetime.
Basic Care:
Some shedding with natural fiber rugs is normal and will diminish over time.
Vacuum regularly on low setting without the beater brush, as this may damage rug.
Avoid damp or humid areas, as trapped moisture can lead to mold or mildew.
Placing rugs in prolonged direct sunlight can cause fading.
Rotate your rug every 3-6 months. This will help prevent excessive wear and fading in one area.
The use of a rug pad will keep your rug lying smooth and flat and will help prevent slippage.
Treating Stains:
Blot spills immediately with a clean cloth or paper towels- act quickly to prevent water stains and residual discoloration. Avoid harsh chemicals and household cleaners as they may damage or fade rug.
Cleaning:
When in doubt, professional cleaning is always going to be your best bet.
