All our rugs are made from the finest natural materials. We choose pure cotton or sheep's wool, dye it carefully, and weave it for strength. Following these suggestions will ensure your rugs can be treasured for a lifetime.
Basic care:
Some shedding with natural fiber rugs is normal and will diminish over time. Avoid placing rugs in prolonged direct sunlight as this can cause fading.
Vacuum lightly on a low setting without the beater brush, as this may damage rug.
Rotate your rug every 3-6 months. This will help prevent excessive wear and fading in one area.
The use of a rug pad will keep your rug lying smooth and flat and will help prevent slippage.
Treating stains:
Blot spills immediately with a clean cloth or paper towels- act quickly to prevent drying. Avoid harsh chemicals and household cleaners as they may damage or fade rug.
Cleaning:
When in doubt, professional cleaning is always going to be your best bet.
